QUICK GUIDE

Build a finished roleplay scene.

  1. Add your chat. Paste a GTAW log into Your chat, or choose Try a sample. The format is detected automatically.
  2. Edit the text. Correct names or lines directly in the chatbox. Select text and choose a GTAW color. Use *emote*, //blur//, or %redact% for supported styling.
  3. Shape the chat preview. Choose the font, size, weight, outline, width, timestamps, and background. Use Manage chat segments for individual lines and filters when needed.
  4. Add a screenshot or GIF. In Screenshot preview, choose a PNG, JPG, WebP, or GIF, or drop/paste an image. Click Place chat on screenshot, then drag the chat to move it or drag a corner to resize. Snap, arrow keys, and Shift + arrow help with precise placement.
  5. Export. Use Export to save PNG, JPG, WebP, or GIF. GIF exports keep the animation and include your placed chat.
  6. Save your work. Save editable project downloads a backup. Load saved project restores it. Start fresh clears the workspace. Undo and redo cover edits made during this session.

Autosave stays in this browser. Project backups keep your editable chat and settings. Blur is visual; use %redact% when text should be covered in the exported image.
